Safe, Secure and Loved: Parents of Children 0-3 years

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Habits of Resilience are practiced in six COMMUNITY-LED workshops (90 minutes each) using group discussion, games, crafts and mindfulness and self-compassion practices. The focus is on strengthening

parental sensitivity and empathy and gaining a deeper understanding of what babies and toddlers need for healthy social-emotional and cognitive development.

parental sensitivity and empathy and learning ways to promote preschoolers'
attachment, flexible thinking skills, and emotion regulation/stress management.

The SSL Preschoolers Program is completed in parallel with the six workshops of Safe, Secure and Loved: Parent of Preschoolers Group. Preschool children play games, read books and practice mindful movement exercises which promote close relationships and emotional awareness, flexible thinking skills and emotion regulation/stress management.
